Heather’s back today!

Heath arrives in Joburg today - 3 days early - because she figured it’s a good idea. Hooray! It’ll be great to have my sister around - although I’m heading to the Midlands on Saturday for 10 days so I’ll be popping in to Maritzburg quite often to see her.
Yay! Tell Heath I say hello!! Sure do miss you guys. Shouldn’t I be over missing people by now? Oh well… I’m not. hehe Have fun!

I don’t know if you should be over missing people. Just go with it! Heard you met Stacy and Patrick at church the other night - small world, hey? They’re great people - but tell me, what is her accent like?!
Hmm… her accent is quite different than the friends I had. But then again, I was told that people in Cape Town sound different than people in Jo’burg. I’d never really known people from Cape Town. When she first said something to me I knew she was frome somewhere, but I wasn’t sure where (she didn’t say a lot for me to catch onto the accent). But when she finished a sentence with ‘as well’, I knew she must be from South Africa. So then I asked… and found out she was from Cape Town… it took a few more minutes before I realized who she was. I was so excited I couldn’t stand myself. Two years of “oh! you’re from North Carolina! Do you know Patrick and Stacy?” And finally I can say I do. hehe Very small world, indeed. I think God got a kick out of watching that story unfold.
